Covert Op

My brother Doug is in the process of interviewing with medical schools, so when we heard he was interviewing in Dallas, that's when we starting our campaigning process. MISSION: Get Doug and Annie to move to Texas. Luckily, our mission was made even easier when he decided to bring his wife (Annie) and child (baby Callin) for the weekend. We also had the pleasure of a visit from my 15-year-old sister, Jennie as well. This weekend's goal was to sell Doug and Annie on our Texas lifestyle. You might wonder what there is to do in Texas and I can tell you--lot's of shopping, sports and eating (Of course, we didn't hesitate to bring up the low cost of living here and the money we could save on trading baby sitting)! There are four huge malls all within about 10 minutes of me north, south, east and west! Here's a picture representation of our fun visit!

We never fail to use photo booth when we have visitors. Can you name this visitor?

The older girls had a chance to get pedicures and joy of all joys, Aunt Jennie let Ella do her own nails!! Quite the steady hand, don't you think :)

We had a very interesting display of fashion this weekend. Where are the fashion police when you need them?

This is a picture of my kids after we dropped everyone off at the airport...totally pooped out! They didn't wake up when I moved them out from the rental car and into our car. I call this picture: Exhaustion.

Besides the pictures shown here, the girls went to Hairspray and the boys went to the Marvericks game. So what do you guys think? Did we sell them on Texas or what!

I'm sold!! :) It looks like you guys had a great weekend, I love the girls in the wigs. And I forgot how much I think you and your siblings all look alike, and how fun you guys are! It would be so fun to have your family out there - we'll keep our fingers crossed for you! PS - did you cut your hair? It looks shorter to me.... maybe I'm wrong.... ;) But you look super cute!

Ella in the orange wig is hilarious! i think the photobooth picture is your younger sister, and I hope you did sell them on Texas because it would be so fun for all of you.

I think you did a great job showing off Texas. The pictures were very fun - it looks like you've had a great week. I need to upload my pics from our roadtrip and blog soon. Laundry first, right?
