I have a Bryan Taylor

Since I've been neglectful with my blog, I decided to send pictures from some of the best moments in the last three weeks. So this blog is of our last "play day" in San Francisco, which also happened to be Labor Day and my birthday. And on my birthday, I always get to choose what we do. This meant that we got to go to downtown San Francisco and enjoy a picnic lunch by the Pier followed by Ghiradelli icecream. Perfect day, especially since the Robertsons joined us. I think my favorite pictures are the ones of Ella and Anna dancing on the lawn in front of Ghiradelli with chocolate from our chocolate-covered strawberries dripping from their mouths. (Oh, and there was an incident that explains Anna's lack of pants in this picture!) Now that I've got you hooked, please enjoy the rest of these great pictures from a wonderful birthday.

We told Ella that Thomas the train was going to pick us up and take us to the city. This made the whole public transportation idea much more fun for everyone.

By the time we made it to Pier 39, both of our girls were asleep.

This is a view of Alcatraz from Pier 39.

You may remember a few blog posts ago, how I praised the name of my friend Bryan Taylor for his wonderful artistic ability. You may also remember how I shamelessly begged for a piece of his artwork. Lo and behold, Stephen thoughtfully remembered all of my very subtle remarks and I was rewarded immensely this birthday by this beautiful surprise. It completely floored me! This was one of those "it's just too much" birthdays for me. Don't you love it. It is a beautiful momento of some wonderful Walnut Creek days and the friends I will never forget.

Steve,

How are things going? Have you purchased a Texas flag yet? So what job did you end up taking? What part of Texas are you in?

Hahahaha - that picture of Ella and Anna dancing with chocolate faces and Anna in her underwear is SO funny! Oh my goodness, how much more white trash could my child get? I love it. That was so much fun and I can't wait for you guys to come back and visit so we can do it again ;) I SO miss you and all of our fun adventures, and boy are our girls cute playing together :) And I am still so impressed with Stephen's birthday gift and that it was a total surprise! Yay for Stephen!! :)
