Tooth Fairy Strikes

There was quite a bit of drama that occurred over this lost tooth. While I was teaching piano lessons, Stephen convinced Ella to let him pull out her tooth. The tooth was very wiggly and she was anxious for the tooth fairy to visit, so she said yes. Unfortunately, Stephen did not get a good enough grip on the tooth on his first attempt. There was some blood. And then there was A LOT OF TEARS and A LOT OF WAILING! So loud were the wails that my piano student thought Ella was being tortured. Even days later, my student asked if Ella was feeling well enough to play with a friend. (Pretty funny--I guess she doesn't have any truly dramatic siblings.) Anyway, Ella bucked up enough to try one more time and the tooth came out (thankfully). Then my sweet Ella wrote a charming little letter to the tooth fairy. (My favorite part of the letter was where she included some facts about herself.) She really makes the tooth fairy work for her living!
