Girl's Club!

I had an idea at the beginning of summer that it would be fun to create a girl's club for the seven-year-old in my house (kind of like activity days). So we gathered a group of girls and each mom took a turn hosting an activity of their choosing. Ella learned how to scrapbook, hula dance, make bread and jam, paint bird houses, first aid and swim safety, among many other things. I would call that a success! It was a great way to keep something fun on the calendar throughout the summer so we didn't fall into the "boredom" trap.
