I know this is a little belated, but I just love Valentine's day and I wanted to share some of our favorite special traditions. The truth is, that without Valentine's day, I think the winter would look a little bleak, so I'm grateful for a chance to throw a party, bake treats and share love. Valentine's Day always brings a special visitor to our home--that's right--Cupid always visits and leaves a few special treats for all. Of course, he is so tricky, he just rings the doorbell and runs. We also love to make treats and valentines to take to the special people in our lives.
And we wanted to thank our friends Gracie and Nicole for inviting us to a mother/daughter service-themed Valentine's party...although I will not say that the chocolates Ella made to be given to someone else actually were received by someone else, the intention was very good. It was a privilege to spend a little one-one-one time with Miss Ella.

Hey Lauren, It's been awhile since I checked any blogs and I can't believe how big your girls are! Tell Ben congrats on the marriage from us. I also had my doubts he'd find anyone dateable in Ithaca.
Wish we could visit in person. Ben is heading to Dallas in March and maybe agian in April. I'll have to see about tagging along to come visit!
Lauren,
I love Valentine's day too. I like it because there's a big enough space between the holidays and Valentine's day that you are ready to bake and celebrate again. I also like it for the chocolate as well :) You're girls are too cute. Let me know when you're coming out again.
I have come down with a new syndrome......
reberfamilyblogupdatewithdrawal syndrome. Is everything ok with you guys?
I love the cupid tradition! Very cute as always :)
