This Sunday was very special for our family--Stephen was able to bless our baby and give her a name. So I just wanted to pay a tribute to the wonderful people that Dessie is named for. To Grandma Dessie Reber, pictured below, we love your humor and ability to smile at the trials in life.
To Grandma Barbara Rae Lewis (pictured below), we love your generosity of spirit and special way of making everybody feel loved and welcome.
To Grandma Marian Smoot, (pictured below), we love your tenacity and loyalty to family.
With all of these wonderful women to emulate, I am sure that Dessie is slotted to be a powerhouse woman someday. We'd like to thank our wonderful visitors (Stephen's parents and brother and Lauren's sister) for sharing this special moment with us. Thanks for coming!
