We Miss Grandma and Eddie!
As we adjust to a family of five, I was very lucky to have my mom help us with the transition. In between making me dinners for an entire month, taking care of the kids, playing chauffeur, changing diapers, doing all my mending, laundry, and cleaning, she also fixed new curtains for me, replaced our doorknob, painted the exterior lights, stained my high chair, etc. I'm still getting over the fact that she had to go home :( She did leave my brother Eddie for an extra week to play with the girls. Eddie has a little business called "Rent-An-Ed" where he plays "mother's helper" during the summer months. He was pretty fun to have around. Here are a few pics of the great time we had...we miss you both A LOT! (Yes, that is a picture of Dessie at her first full-length feature film during her second week of life!)

Mothers are the BEST!! What would we do without their help? I often wonder how an women have babies without their mothers there to help them along!
I can't get over how much I love that name! Seriously, if I ever (which probably won't happen) have a baby again and it's a girl I might have to steal it from you! And it doesn't help that she is such a beautiful baby too!
i can't believe she already been to the movie theater! how cute! : )
Yeah for moms! It would almost make me want to have another baby if I knew THAT much would get done in a week ;)
Belated congrats. You look great. Baby is adorable. Love getting glimpses of your life and seeing how happy you are.
It is always so hard for me when my mom leaves! What a cute family
Where do I sign up for renting an Ed? And can I get a package deal with your mother? How on earth does she get all of that done? She amazes me, and you definitely inherited those traits for sure!! I'm so glad you had such great help, and that you have all of those meals! :) Dessie is so, so cute and I love seeing all 3 of your adorable girls. Oh, I miss you. Blaine needs a little car seat buddy :) We could be driving around following each other in our sedans stuffed full of children and car seats on our adventures..... sigh ;)
I don't know why, but it still amazes me how much your mom can get done in a short time. After knowing you for a few years now, I should be used to it! That is so cute of Ed to stay out and help. Just having someone to play with the older kids makes a huge difference! By the way, I'm planning on getting the pics burned onto a CD and sent out to you in the next couple days. Our CD burner is broken, so I have been stalling, knowing that I have to do it in a round about way. Anyway, I probably should have just sent you an e-mail since this comment is so long!!! Ha! :)
