Yes, you may notice that big pile of hair next to Ella's plate of food...
Well, with one swoop most of Ella's hair was chopped off, by me. I was combing it and noticed how she had the mullet thing happening (bangs much shorter than the back), plus much of the back hair was ripped from her yanking out her elastics. So, I did a crazy thing. I cut her hair myself. Turns out that I am no good at cutting hair, particularly a toddler's hair. I tried to prevent too much movement by sticking her in front of a plate of food. What can I say, it is shorter than I intended it to be, but it will grow back right?!! (I hope she will forgive me in advance!)

I think it looks really cute and i admire your guts...there's no way i'd be cutting my girls hair....er...again...i cute mailee's and she looked like that bowl cut from dumb and dumber....but Ella (your Ella) looks adorable and it makes her look older :)
I love it. I think it's really cute. You did a good job. It's got enough curl that you can't notice imperfections.
cute hair. lily's hair has grown so much since i cut it, it looks so much healthier and thicker. i think you'll love it.
I think it's darling! I have seen my sisters stick their kids infront of the TV. Maybe that would be less movement? (p.s. I'm sending your books today!)
I love that you have a post about this! So cute. Ella is adorable, and how on earth do you have two perfect little picture posers?
I love the cut! I'm not up close or anything but she looks like a sweet little pixie.
Aww, your daughter looks so cute! And happy 5th! your dress looks beautiful! But the sad part is your little girl got a bad sun burn! Oh well. :)
